The Sanpete area has plenty of activities for the whole family. You can enjoy the Mormon Miracle Pageant, festivals, fairs, rodeos, and parades. You can take a short drive into any of the canyons to fish, hike, rock climb in Maple Canyon, bike, picnic, and marvel at the picturesque scenery. You can check out Palisade Golf Course - one of Utah’s most scenic 18 hole courses. There are plenty of things to do in the winter also, from art and pioneer museums to the Fairview Museum which houses the giant Colombian Mammoth. Other activities include plays and concerts at Snow College, cross county skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling

The beautiful Manti Temple sits atop the hill at the North end of Manti and is the dominant structure in the city. Built between 1877 and 1888 by the pioneers who settled this Sanpete Valley, it is a place of worship for members of the LDS church. We invite you to tour the grounds and enjoy the flower gardens and the wonderful view of Manti.

Manti Canyon
Nearby Manti Canyon is a beautiful escape into the mountains that overlook the peaceful Sanpete Valley. A half-hour drive up the canyon will bring you to the Skyline Drive. Numerous trails twist through the area which are suitable for mountain biking, horseback riding and 4-wheeling. The area also offers excellent snowmobiling in the winter.
